The Boating Safety Course Without the Classroom™

The New Jersey Online Boat Operator Course is a self-paced study course aproved by the NJ State Police, Marine Services Bureau. It contains 7 chapters of boating information. At the end of each chapter, you will need to take and pass a test (10 - 20 questions depending on the size of the chapter). 

Once you complete each of the 7 chapters with a passing score of 70% or better, you are awarded a "Proof of Completion" certificate. 

The Proof of Completion certificate is your "ticket" to take the final exam, which must be taken in person.  The final exam can only be taken at one of our approved testing centers.
