CLASSROOM COURSES
American Boating Education highly recommends the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and the U.S. Power Squadron for classroom boating courses.

U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
Students attending the classroom boating safety course need to bring identification (driver's license, passport, etc), and walk-ins are welcome.
Upon passing the final exam, you will receive a "temporary" boating certificate which is valid immediately. The original boating card, issued by the State Police, Marine Services Bureau, is mailed to you in about 4 weeks.
