NOTE: ONLY THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAVE PASSED THE NJ ONLINE BOATING COURSE FROM AMERICAN BOATING EDUCATION (WWW.BOATCOURSE.COM) MAY SIGN-UP HERE TO TAKE THE FINAL EXAM. IF YOU TOOK AN ONLINE COURSE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY, YOU CANNOT TAKE THE FINAL EXAM AT OUR TESTING CENTERS.

New Jersey boaters, including out-of-state residents who store their boats in New Jersey, have two options for obtaining a Boating Safety Certificate:

1. Attend a classroom course and pass the final 50-question multiple choice exam, or
2. Take our approved online boating safety course (www.boatcourse.com) and then take the final in-person exam at any of the locations listed below.
