To take your online, NASBLA and U.S. Coast Guard approved Boating Safety Course, please visit www.BoatCourse.com FIRST! Once you have completed the online portion of BoatCourse.com's New Jersey Boating Certification Course, you may take your final, in-person New Jersey Boating Exam and receive your official New Jersey Boating License.

NOTE: ONLY THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAVE PASSED THE NJ ONLINE BOATING COURSE FROM AMERICAN BOATING EDUCATION (at WWW.BOATCOURSE.COM) MAY SIGN-UP HERE TO TAKE THE FINAL EXAM. IF YOU TOOK AN ONLINE COURSE FROM ANOTHER COMPANY, YOU CANNOT TAKE THE FINAL EXAM AT OUR TESTING CENTERS.

The cost to take your final in-person exam varies by Instructor, but is approximately $30.00 and is paid directly to the Instructor.

NOTE: If you are calling an instructor to schedule an exam for a date not listed below, know that the NJ Marine Service Bureau (MSB) requires an instructor to notify them at least 7 days in advance of a proctored in-person exam. This means it normally takes at least 8-10 business days from the time you call an instructor to take a test until you can actually take the exam. The MSB has been notified of the dates and locations posted below.
